I take international trips to write songs. Last year in Thailand, I decided to buy a deck. I shuffle, cut and draw. I draw until I pull three trump cards (0-21). There is always an idea that comes forward. What's weird, I have never taken the cards out of their box in my home. I've never used them any other way than a writing tool abroad. One thing I got from your recent video on this subject was a concept pertaining to the balance of abundance and purpose. This hit hard. I earned a lot of money as a stage lighting designer on major concert tours. The pile of money caused me to lose direction and meaning. I am a street musician now, its honest, purposeful and I find joy in it even though I am making a tenth of the money I once did. I really appreciate your work here Chuck. It really has me evaluating my reality.
