I was gonna make this a video but I just ended up rambling so I'm doing a post to properly convey my dilemma.
Beating Chica's Magic Rainbow with only boys and no DLC is gonna require a high levelled party, I knew that going in. But I knew it was possible thanks to a video by Amos01010 where he modded the Starters to level 500 and beat the rainbow. The boys wouldn't have to be that high thanks to their stronger attacks and giftboxes. I was aiming for 20 second Security fights (100,000 HP) to compensate for all the Geist Lair obstacles. Day 1 went great with my time dropping from 1:59 to 1:17. However Day 2 only had a single improvement of 1:13 and Day 3 didn't have any at all. Meanwhile my boys were only around level 75. At this pace, it was going to take months of fighting Security non-stop to get the boys to a high enough level to have a chance at the fight, which is gonna take days of attempts by itself. I thought back to DapperWaffles challenge where he beat the main game with the mini rainbows in every fight. How he edited the game files to get his giftbox party to 1000 HP and stalled while the bytes did the damage. I can see why he did it, to save himself the pain I went through on my 10 day grind to get the Female Party to level 150. I thought about editing the files for that challenge but I wanted to do it legitimately which I did and I'm proud of. But the DLC girls did get rid of the mini rainbow and toxic gas obstacles, leaving the timer as the main problem. With the boys, all three obstacles are there and their damage is nowhere near what the DLC girls can do. They're gonna have to be around level 350-400 to have a shot, which is gonna take months of fighting Security. I considered editing the game files cheating but I'm now reflecting on the potential mental/physical issues, how I might resent the game and how long you guys would have to wait for the video. So I'm leaving this decision up to you, the ones who have supported me across both gender party series. What's the best direction to take for the final part of the Male Party no DLC challenge?
