What R/C helicopter simulator would you recoemmend for a new pilot? I've been asked the question but don't know the options. If you are kind enough to offer a suggestion, can you also add the price of it too? Thank you in advance to any who share their knowledge... Happy flying!

I've been using AccuRC sim and find the physics quite realistic to the actual experience. Setup is also very simple for a beginner. I'm not an expert heli flyer so there might be better sims out there.

Iam using the newest Realflight. Will check witch one exactly on my laptop after my ☕. Iam using Realflight Evolution that's €99,99 on Steam now or Realflight Trainer Edition that's 39,99 now on Steam. And iam a beginner too and was wondering what Sim to use best. So thank you for this post! Iam the proud owner of a Goosky S1 and Goosky S2 now both really AWESOME 3d helicopters!

In order of my preference: 1.AccuRC (£40 on steam) 2. Heli-x (69 euro) 3. PhoenxiRC (Free but need dongle £10). There's also one called neXt but never flown (100 dollars)

I have AccuRC and Heli-X. AccuRC is pretty much abandonware and it's missing a lot of features compared to Heli-X. So i would go with Heli-X. Haven't tried NeXt yet, might be a good candidate too.

Any of them is better than none. I taught myself how to fly collect a pitch helicopters almost 20 years ago. I refused to use any of the more than adequate simulators because I never took them seriously. And I actually tried. My thought process, wrongly. Was to crash in the real world rather than crash in the simulated world because I found simulator so boring and ponderous.

Hello sir, I am a student in electronics engineering now building autonomous drones for a competition in India for precision agriculture. The challange is for the first drone to gps tag the stressed plants and the second drone to spray fertilizer/pesticide at tagged locations, I need to build a platform in my laptop where I can see the location of drones and mission status , I have some doubts regarding the implimentation can you please share any contact details so I can ask you some doubts 🙌

Accurc 2 is pretty good, but i believe it is £40 on steam and it is not being developed anymore. HeliX is very good and it is actively developed. It has an unlimited demo for free and a paid version for 69€. It has a vr capabilities as well. I would try Heli X to begin with.
