By the way, if you aren’t in my discord server, I made an announcement stating that instead of an art video this week, I’d be working on a new PLANEFINDER video instead! Although the majority of you guys voted for a new art video this week, I got a lot of direct requests to wait until the end of the month so people could work on Halloween themed aviation art (which would also make a more interesting video). Don’t forget, if you wanna be featured in the next art video, go make some Halloween themed aviation art (how many pumpkin planes can we get this year??) and submit it through the links in all my art video descriptions!

They should put the plane in some kind of museum. One of the most iconic 757 liveries ever.

why would they retire their most iconic livery? it’s kinda bad marketing if u ask me

I was very surprised when I saw it was coming by CPH, even though it was “retired” Sunday! So Im just glad having to see it land and takeoff for a final time!

I guess the plane is so special that even Icelandair decide to keep it flying for few more days...

This is reminiscent of how the U.S. "retired" the A-10 Thunderbolt, only for it to be brought back into service cause no other aircraft could supplement its role 😂

I've only seen the regular livery, still stunning aircraft. Also the first time it was on a A350 and way too far away and the next was when it was practically dark out and my camera was on ISO 25000

I saw this exact same plane (TF-FIU) with that livery at Gatwick Airport in September. Iconic livery

A final tribute to Icelandair’s Hekla Aurora- one of the most iconic liveries in the world that was retired just a few days ago… or so we thought… look at the last slide, it’s still flying seemingly passenger routes after its “final passenger flight” over 2 days ago in Reykjavik lol.
Regardless, I’m very glad I went to Iceland when I did, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have been able to ever catch this beauty! So long to TF-FIU (for however long Icelandair decides to keep flying it, I guess, because the special Iceland flyover on October 12th which was advertised as the “final flight” for $200 was clearly NOT the last flight lol)
