I've got the same mint growing in my yard. In fact I have many edible plants along one side of property all native to Alaska that grow year after year and all I do is mow the weeds on one side of them and look as natural as the rest of property. The problem is this is Alaska and most can only be harvested a few weeks of the year and not that productive but every little bit helps.
