in 2010, we became best friends. along the way, we sang side by side at church. (and spent way too much time at sonic) in 2018, we recorded a cover and put it on YouTube. our family and community wanted more. in 2021, we chose the name “Loula” after our hometown of Lula, GA. we IMMEDIATELY booked flights to Colorado to shoot these photos — our very first photos as The Band Loula. we gave up everything in our life we thought was our purpose to do Loula. and now, The Band Loula is our life. it’s what we want to hang our hats on when we’re too old to be whipping around guitars and tambourines, lol.
