I’m seriously hoping we get actual NEW villagers. (I’m placing bets on Big Sister Hamster or Lazy Kangaroo) Though do hope for some villagers to become regionalized (those who ONLY appear in the Japanese exclusive Animal Forest e+).

I gotta be honest, I'm so broke right now, and I'm gonna be broke for awhile, there's no way I can afford a Switch 2 before my birthday next May, so if a new Animal Crossing game gets announced before I can join in the fun, I'm gonna be suffering "FOMO" for months, maybe years. I've been grateful that they haven't yet announced any games that I want, but as soon as a new mainline Zelda game or a new Animal Crossing game gets announced, I'm gonna be in despair for who knows how long.

A big part of Animal Crossing is it's music, and I heard one of the staff in the music department of the game had joined another project. Maybe the others decide to follow suit and help other Nintendo games to be like Animal Crossing, and we'll have to wait until they gang up together again to make a new game.

TBH, the last Animal Crossing only came out 5 years ago. Nintendo doesn't release AC games like Pokemon games lmao. There's an Animal Crossing roughly every decade because of the time it takes in development, and because Nintendo is occasionally a decent company who wants players to fully enjoy their games. With the way world is, I'll probably have to miss out on the next installment, but I genuinely don't think we'll get another proper Animal Crossing gamr for about 2-5 years. We might get something like Amiibo Festival or Pocket Camp in the meantime. But I think it's ridiculous to want/expect another animal crossing so soon. New Leaf came out in 2013, and then New Horizons came out in 2020, just to put things into perspective.

Just a heads up for all of you... If you're disappointed about this game release, I'm gonna recommend you all a Cozy game similar to AC that was released recently last June to Switch called Locomoto. The game is pretty laggy on Switch but it's enough for playability. It's very fun, very cute, and has similar yet totally new and still adorable animal faces you'll fall in love with in the meantime. There's an official trailer for it on Nintendo's YT channel so you can get a better dive into it. PS, it's also been my only game to date that has been rivalling AC...
