I'm not qualified to answer this question because I've never had Shake Shack, and I've only had Five Guys once.

As someone who’s never had either- I cannot wait to try both 😎

I would love five guys if it didn't cost 22 bucks and my first born son for a burger, some fries and a medium drink.

The first time I had Five Guys it was a transcendent experience. I didn’t know a fast food burger could be that good. The first time I had Shake Shack, I thought “that’s a pretty good burger”

Five Guys is better in pretty much every aspect. I went to Shake Shack twice when one opened up near me a few years ago and was very underwhelmed with the quality of everything but the burgers, especially for the price. Five Guys is pricey too, but I enjoy the food so much that it's worth paying more for imo.

I sadly can't eat at Five Guys bc everything is made with peanut oil :( but I really like shake shack when I tried it a few months ago!

As a midwesterner; the best is Culvers. Even if you think Five Guys is slightly better, the price difference goes to Culvers

I've only ever been to Five guys (once, and I didn't even order anything we legit just sat and talked for about 2h ✋🏻💀) so I'm probably not allowed to vote ha

There's no shake shack near me. About the only burger place that I might go for a burger over them is Culver's, or the local place apollo burger. But five guys fries are in a league of there own.
