Hi! Well this is my first time testing out this feature and I'm not too sure of how many people will get to see it, but I figured this could be a good way of more or less communicating what I got planned since I haven't uploaded in a while.
See, I've been working on an edit of chainsaw man for a while now, but it's taking me a bit and it will be at least some more days before I can put anything out. I've been quite busy and haven't had much time to edit, and even then when I do get around to editing, there's only so much I can get done per session. The main thing that's been taking so much time is the process of going through and cutting all of the chainsaw man episodes themselves; the amount of incredible looking shots and scenes far exceeds that of any regular seasonal show and even the amount that is seen on stuff like OVA's/ONA's. And the thing with this is that I've had a hard time deciding what to leave in and what to leave out, which is great! It means that there's so much great material to work with that I'm probably even going to end up having enough to make more than a single edit. Given my love for the manga and show as a whole, this makes me quite excited!
But for now that will be on hold, and I'm sorry I wasn't able to put anything out for a while. I usually try to make sure that I'll have at least an edit for each month of the year, and while I have broken these personal rules a couple of times already, I try to stick to it as much as possible.
There's no real reason though, this is a really small channel and I got 0 external pressure from anyone or anything to do any of this. But I love editing with a passion, and I love having an edit out every month. I don't really get a lot of comments but the couple that I do are just really motivating, heart warming and come from awesome people. I really like this space and I'll like to keep it going for as long as I'm able to, and I see this new feature as a way of communicating and also hopefully even make the channel a bit more active outside the videos themselves.
To wrap things up I do want to say that while I wasn't able to make a new video for the channel, I do actually have a february upload but it won't be in here. I made a second channel almost a year ago or so, and I was planning to use it as a place where I could upload stuff that wasn't so anime centered or straight up weird/experimental stuff. On this occasion I'm going to use it to upload a scraped project that I still think is good enough to be shared around. Hopefully you'll enjoy it and hopefully I'll be able to make fun stuff for that channel eventually too, as I do have many ideas around other forms of editing.
