I think a journalist got fired over this exact joke not too long ago. Fun story, I had a friend once tell me they were “bi” and I assumed “bisexual” (I live in Portland, OR and so many people are) but she meant bipolar 🤣

I had this happen with a gf. She quickly followed it up with "and no, I'm not going to do any threesomes." Like, woman, you've known me for several months before we dated. You should know that I am out of my league socially with one woman. Two women would give me such social anxiety, I literally wouldn't know what to do.

I can totally see this being in some poorly scripted comedy movie starring two random celebrities and the guy responds with “Nice to meet you Bi, I’m Dave.”

My mom said she was ‘very inclusive because she had a bi child.’ I thought she had just outed me to everyone but when my sister laughed I realized she meant biracial 💀

Literally actually happened to me when I was in high school except they said trans and I didn't exactly know what being trans meant at the time so I was very very confused The fact that I had only known them at the time for not that long and the fact that I thought that they looked quite androgynous didn't help either

It's a valid question. Is it one or both? If one then which?

The earth is bipolar, I am too! Grin keeps me off the equator: primitive, sunny and always feeling hot!

I remember saying "I'm bi" to a friend when I was very very very little. I meant bilingual and just couldn't remember the rest of the word.
