If each unit had some summary for all its ideas in one place; so we can access the information quickly and review them efficiently

Maybe a real-time measure (in a course) of what you should be able to do or build based on your progression throughout the course and recommend jobs you're ready to take on based on your progression (although the last part I think is part of the job-readiness feature but I'm not sure). Also codecademy is a great learning platform but I don't think it teaches u everything it just gives u enough to make a career switch or be job ready in the tech industry so I think maybe after course completion there should be highlights of the things it did teach in comparison to what is taught in like a varsity like 4 example in codecademy there's a computer science career path but it doesn't teach everything that is usually taught in varsity so at the end of the course there could be a highlight of maybe a varsity curriculum and the things that codecademy taught are given a tick and those it didn't teach are given an x and a user can type the type of job they want and each topic is given a ranking based on importance in that job.

My suggestion is to create a hybrid on the dashboard of "learning in progress" and "weekly targets" section. Dragging and dropping the courses/units (in their order, across blank time slots to set initial dates/times) allowing the user to visualize their daily up to quarterly learning targets... with estimated hours workload by the same dates. I think it will help those who might feel overwhelmed/anxious/lost about the learning to divide into manageable pieces, but also allow them the opportunity to zoom out and visualize (e.g. 20, 50, 90, 150 hours) what does that really look like based on the desired content and their availability? This calendar would already have the automatic flexibility in the scheduling; modules carry over when the user needs more time/not completed, and move up earlier when they are moving faster/increased availability in this calendar. They can always export to print it out and have something tangible, merge to their digital calendars to create reminders/appointments, or simply to be more confident in their plan/share with whomever they wish. I believe a small intro video to the learning showing what a user will be going over will be helpful since visual learners are probably the dominant learning style. Let me see what it really is (especially for beginners with zero experience) and were curious about the titles, the salaries, buzz words they saw, etc. Visualizing the units in 10-15 seconds up to 60 seconds. Maybe that will prevent a user the ability to not dive too deep into learning before realizing ehh it's not really for me or not ready at this present moment. The personality quiz is very helpful, so their latest results (if they take it once/more than once) can be displayed on the dashboard giving them a more complete picture of their profile.
