It doesn't sound like the classic subie rumble, but it does have a good sound imo. It's like the new gen subie rumble.

Personally I wouldn’t mod my car till the warranty is up, but that depends on if you can afford to/ if it’s your daily or not.

I voted "no". I personally think the VB FA24T just needs a decent tune (by someone who KNOWS what they're doing), a cat-back, and that should sound pretty good and pick up around 20/20 or so. Just what I am thinking, is all.
