Nintendo asked me to take down 9 of my videos. I'm not planning on buying another Nintendo console after this. This whole situation has left a really bad taste in my mouth and I'm done with supporting them.

If this doesn't work out man, it is hell of a lot easier to make a game with %100 of your own assets in Unity. Or other game engines. You could create a game like Z3lda containing none of the original identifying assets, true it wont get the recognition in name & nostalgia, but possibly with time spent dialing it in & has the right features it could make it big. Keep things efficient though to prevent bugs. Engines get a lot of hate but if you build the game efficient it will perform well. Basically make a puzzle, arpg with toon cel shaded style graphics, there are a few out there but nothing that is really really dialed in terms of the way the character moves & it's not that hard to do, you can use variables to tune the feel of a how a character works in unity quite easily. I have been out of the scene for awhile but aside from Dark Souls 1 & Necropolis I haven't seen anything that fills the exact slot that a oot+WW style game could fill, plenty of room in the genre for another title.

Why won't they let their FANS US THE FUCKING FANS upload gameplay and Let's plays? It's not like we are selling their shit. Why can't we just do this for fun? Do they not care we are supporting them or do they just want money from us? What's the point of Nintendo staying as a company if they don't support their fans? On top of that making fans pay a monthly subscription just to play classic games along with DLCs should be illegal IMHO. They should've gone the virtual console route. I can see why people are sticking to old games and fan games and emulation. Let alone the PC port of OoT recently released. Why punish us and block the music on our gameplays? We just wanna support them. All they are is greedy pigs! I'm grateful for uncensored Switch and region free games. But damn. Why punish us if we can't even upload anything at all for showing our support? Fans should just band together and tell Nintendo to let us stream and upload gameplay footage for fun. It's not like we're doing anything illegal. I wonder how many people got a C&D for uploading a Let's play? Kinda dumb if you ask me. -_- I think Nintendo SHOULD re-read their ToS for uploading Gameplays. I was told I can upload Gameplays with the games music etc as long as I'm not doing anything illegal or harmful or vice versa. Here's their ToS site for streaming content or making Let's Plays etc. They told me I can do it as long as it's APPROPRIATE. ETC. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU MAN!!! THIS IS A LEGIT GUIDELINE FROM THEIR JAPANESE SITE! I wish you could continue your Zelda mods too. Winds of Time. Can't wait to play! :3 I'm no lawyer but they are going AGAINST their ToS all they want is money. This is PROOF! Trust me I was really nervous as hell for asking the rep for making Zelda content and worried about getting a C&D. I literally asked that. Heck at least Sony and Microsoft has a recording button to share Gameplays. Nintendo needs ALLOT of catching up to do. Stop with the strict copyright BS. Grow a pair of balls. I wonder how BoTW2 is gonna preform on the Switch if they can't even get it working properly. Sheesh. Switch doesn't even have 4K or UHD support yet and it's almost 2023. 4k would look GREAT on BOTW2 and other upcoming Switch titles. I'd love to play Smash and Mario Kart in 4k! :3 They didn't even include 16:9 on Nintendo Switch online for hand held support for Nes, Snes, N64 and Sega games. Would've been nice IMO. And no intergrated voice chat, themes, still delayed on themes since 2017 launch day and no LFG "Looking for Group" would be nice for games like Splatoon, Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, etc. Nintendo can afford a fancy upgraded Switch with OLED support but no 4K and UHD support for 4k TVs since everyone owns a 4ktv these days. Sad Nintendo. Real sad... Sorry end of my ridiculous rant. Lol. Once I build my PC. I'm sticking to emulation all the way! And the PC Port of SM64 and OoT as well. Ray tracing is looking good especially for custom models. :3 just need to get my hands on a RTX 3070. Lol on top of Zelda mods are looking tight. :3 ;) Fans do what Nintendo don't. I mean look at Breath of the Wild Second Wind. Looks freaking awesome! :3 and Skilar's TP Hero of Time Mod for TP HD and GameCube. Modding community has done well over the years and improving. :) PS Bring back Miiverse for Switch! Facebook and Twitter sucks. Can't even use wind Waker HDs feature for Tingle Bottle anymore. And it would be good to find people who want to play games like Smash or Splatoon etc. I can think of allot of ways to save Nintendo's ass from going down hill. BigShark I'm on your discord. Just a quick update, I most likely won't be uploading any videos until I resolve a situation that's been affecting my channel since May. Nintendo has issued over 80 copyright claims on my videos, blocking them worldwide. I had recently managed to get them back, but they were blocked again just now, so I have no choice but to appeal every dispute.
The funny thing is, it's not just modding videos but also some gameplay videos and old music covers. The only one I cannot really try to get back is the Metroid Dread OST as that does not fall under fair use, so I apologize if that one is forever gone.
