Today in history: 35 years of Bintaro railway tragedy which killed over 139 passengers, 70 of them died inside the coach right after the collision. The rest died either in ambulance or in the hospital.
110 corpses has been identified, 29 remains unidentified to this day.
This massive collision leaves both pulling units destroyed, and the first coach of the express train (which is a 1965 generation Derde-Klaasse with Baggage coach) lost its hull and underframe, immidiately got scrapped in location.
