4-6 Month Milestones

Milestones are behavioral or physical checkpoints in children’s development as they grow. They are core skills infants should be reaching, and they’re important to know to be able to detect delays as soon as possible. The earlier a delay is detected, the sooner intervention can begin. Milestones are divided into core groups: motor, sensory, communication, and feeding. Baby milestones are in age ranges because all babies are different! Milestones mark the months most babies start a certain behavior, but the exact timing will vary. These videos review important milestones for the 4-6 month age range. If your child is missing certain milestones, be sure to talk with your healthcare provider. 👶 Our FREE, award-winning app makes it easy to track important milestones by age.
