Custom Metadata Panel

These videos cover the Custom Metadata Panel, published by the Adobe Digital Media Services team. This is an extension for Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro. You can get the extension at the Adobe Exchange, using this link: exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.103752.ht… The Custom Metadata Panel is an easy to configure panel that lets you view and edit metadata on your creative assets. It comes with a set of pre-defined form fields you can mix and match to create your own metadata form. Forms can be exported and shared among a group, or you can publish a form to a web page for centralized management. Forms can contain any combination of text, date, dropdown, radio buttons, switches, URL, tags or AEM Tags (specific to Adobe Experience Manager). Each field can target a specific metadata namespace and property. It is much easier to use than the XMP Toolkit XML, and it works with Bridge 2019 and up. The panel supports advanced XMP features, including Language Alternatives and Structures. The form fields can be disabled until values are set in another field (dependencies), the options in a dropdown can depend on the value of another field (filters), and dropdowns can select many options at once, such as "all values" or "Dogs" when there is a list of many animals. The panel is free to use and is available for individuals and businesses as well as Enterprises.
