Wish You Were Here Guitar Lesson - Pink Floyd
In this weeks guitar lesson I've worked on "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd featuring David Gilmour on acoustic guitar. I've seen this song been played and explained, but most are missing the subtleties in the strumming pattern that make this song so special. Variances in the rhythm, the layering of the strings, etc.
Enjoy!

Lyrics:
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
And how we found
The same old fears
Wish you were here
