Rockfour - רוקפור - The Man Who Saw It All [Full Album Piano Tribute] - האיש שראה הכל - האלבום המלא גרסת הפסנתר

Help me make more videos by supporting me on PATREON: www.patreon.com/FrankieSimon In 1994, the Israeli band Rockfour, released a masterpiece album, called "The Man Who Saw It All”. To this day, this monumental album sounds like nothing else in Israeli music and I feel it has a special place in a lot of people’s hearts. It was actually the first CD I ever bought, at a school trip to Eilat. As the band celebrates a late 20th anniversary of the album’s release, I decided to make my own tribute. Let’s call it “The Man Who Played (Almost) It All” / "האיש שניגן (כמעט) הכל" (perhaps somewhat lost in translation). On January 2nd and 3rd, 2016, I recorded piano arrangements of (almost) all of the songs on the album, track by track. These are not the best versions that can be played, they are simply the most acceptable versions I could make in the limited time I had (two afternoons/evenings). Through the short and intense process I learned that this album is even better than I had thought. And way more complex. I almost wish I had more time to work more of the original riffs and solos into the performance. On the other hand, it feels good to deliver something and move on to the next thing. You can listen to Rockfour’s original album for free and buy the CD here: rockfour.bandcamp.com/album/the-man-who-saw-it-all Support my music: www.ko-fi.com/FrankieSimon Follow me on Twitch: twitch.tv/FrankieSimon Keep in touch on Facebook: www.facebook.com/FrankieThePianist And of course, share the videos and subscribe to my channel. Finally, I’d like to dedicate this project to the memory of Anat Damon.
