Why did I start filming Police? Why did I decide to go public? The whole story, with video links. My original anger came from a charge on Jan 25th of 2020. That situation is described a bit but the story has not been publicized yet. [Honestly not something I can objectively do myself yet]. My indignation came from the prosecutor... who had to have colluded with police. How do I know this? They actually tried to intimidate, especially Mike Byrn and Troy Squire. youtu.be/fXfDtzjpANc We tried to make complaints to OPA and were treated like scum of the earth. youtu.be/TLwqnwVthpM I told them several times, "You will not stop me, and if you don't make changes I will film the end of someone's career." -turns out I was right. Major Squire retired within weeks of me going public and Sgt Byrn followed shortly there after. LPD has all but admitted Squire's situation. They denied an open record request for an audio recording made between a citizen(me) and him citing it is 'part of a personnel record' in which we were discussing complaints I had made about officer behavior. His words were criminal in several ways. They knew it. They just didn't think I did until it was too late to fix. The most insane part of this whole story? The case that angered me so much that I actually went public with all this is the assault you just saw and the coverup that followed. I've never met the citizen they did this to. Don't know him. Never heard of him before May 5, 2021. I'm just tired of seeing this happen across the country, and damned sure won't stand for it taking hold here. Instead of just speaking with me about the concerns, he sent a charge nurse out to "handle" me. Before she came out or had ever met me, she had already called security specialist extraordinaire... This kind of stuff occurs too often in this country. What is happening here is this: They are basically daring to take them to court (spend a bunch of money) to get the records to prove the misconduct...WHILE THEY CORRECT THE ADMIN BEHIND THE SCENES...OUT OF PUBLIC VIEW. What does this mean? This allows them to control the narrative as well as the information. They will tell the world they did the "best they could" and "see how to improve". Then they will show all the "proactive" changes that came from their "Internal Investigation". When in fact, the entire course of behavior...beginning to end...has been REACTIVE... Nothing short of criminal.
