FL v. Tomasz Roman Kosowski — Murder Trial
ABOUT THE CASE
The murder trial of Dr. Tomasz Roman Kosowski, a Florida plastic surgeon accused of killing attorney Steven Cozzi, is underway in Pinellas County, Florida. Prosecutors allege that Kosowski targeted Cozzi amid a contentious legal dispute and killed him inside the Blanchard Law office in Largo in March 2023. Cozzi's body has never been recovered. The State's case relies on surveillance footage, forensic evidence, vehicle movements and other circumstantial evidence as prosecutors attempt to reconstruct what they say happened after Cozzi disappeared. Kosowski has pleaded not guilty and is representing himself at trial.
