During the 20th century, the brazilian music MPB has developed both in classical and popular aspects due to the world culture spread and to the attention given to the study of Music itself. It is when "Brazilian music" gains identity 🌏 The production of Villa Lobos is the great spotlight of the classical Brazilian Music! 👏🏻 Simultaneously, the Brazilian popular music MPB gains the respect of the cultural elite consolidating rhythms as samba, chorinho, bossa nova and the Brazilian rock. 🥳🎤🎺
Other typical and folkloric styles like country music (musica sertaneja), baião and forró also get strengthed and spread all over Brazil and not only in their regions of origin. All these musical genders form what we call MPB, the Brazilian popular music. 🟢🟡
