This patch uses biofeedback from a plant to generate control voltage and gates. These are then used to play notes, trigger sequences & envelopes, change programs, and influence clocks. To ensure harmony within the randomness, some control voltages get quantized into the same musical scale as the drones that make up the base of this piece.
* The INSTRUO ARBHAR plays a constant drone of trumpet grains. some deep and grumpy, some high and mighty.
* The BEHRINGER BRAINS is constantly shifting programs through biofeedback cv. This makes it unpredictable. The sounds vary from synthy pads to electrical noise.
* The BEHRINGER NEUTRON plays 'popcorn dots' into the lush reverb, triggered by the biofeedback. Which notes are played is not determined by biofeedback but by a Turing machine that steadily alters its sequence after 32 steps.
* The videogamey EONWAVE WEATHERDRONES sequence is randomly clocked. This makes the sequence much less repetitive while retaining a recurring familiarity within the piece.
