Human Library at UC Davis

The Human Library at UC Davis is an event where people of different backgrounds can come together to ask questions, share stories about diverse life experiences, and have conversations that challenge stereotypes, prejudices and preconceived ideas. Modeled after an international movement for social change called the Human Library, people are the “Books” and they offer their stories to “Readers” through one-on-one conversations. Some of our "Books" have also chosen to share their stories more broadly through these videos. Meet more of our books at library.ucdavis.edu/humanlibrary or at one of our events. Special thanks to UC Davis IET Academic Technology Services for producing these videos.
