Significant Funk "Significant Funk EP" is a new mini-album by New Zealander Nicholas Oliver aka MidKnight Moon. The tracks are shining out with various mixed sub-genres of drum’n’bass, eclectics, original melodies and hooks, the same as in "Around We Go LP" debut album. Such compositions as "Big Bang", "Interstellar" and "Flo" definitely sound as atmospheric and techmospheric dnb sound, though each track is highlighted with it’s own inimitable elements and moves. "Used" and «MiNi» are more minimalistic. The first one can be characterized as deep techstep, the second one is a halfstep. Both tracks contain vivid, easy to remember percussion and change of mood along with the story telling. «Seratonin» is also a halfstep tune with drawling, falling on melody with neuro deep bass and dreamy atmosphere. "Significant Funk" is a melancholic and minimalistic deepy liquid with elements of dub.
