5/26/2025: The original vinyl and/or a Deluxe Edition CD are ready to order now, on-demand through Elastic Stage! Own a piece of missing history, today!: shorturl.at/Fm1Fs UPDATE: We are excited to announce, as of May 13th 2025, all rights have been acquired and the album will be released on 12” vinyl by the fine folks at You Are Invited Records! Test printings are presently underway and if all goes as it should, the release date will follow! Note, the vinyl is a full-release of the twelve-inch, twelve track commercial album only, the rejected material will unfortunately not be on the record due to space limitations. However, the 'Deluxe Edition' CD contains two bonus tracks which were initially removed from the intended pressing, as well as a brief 'History Of' booklet containing insights into the project's development and eventual lost status. This album is not a remaster or remix, this is every track as originally recorded and intended, a true piece of missing history, finally given its place! Various rediscovered master recordings for the lost 1978 compilation album, Discoing 'round Town!Discoing 'round Town, an insane concept album featuring novelty tracks about various mundane or out-of-place locations serving as discotheques, was obviously a compilation album meant to capitalize on the mainstream popularity of disco, and more specifically that ubiquitous Gym-related disco dance song, but the attempt was ultimately too late; it wound up being recorded just as disco's popularity began to wane significantly, instead. The record company was insolvent before it even fully formed, as the studios backing it all went bankrupt, and the album was therefore never released, despite being finished. The recordings and media were considered lost until a recent unearthing, leading to an attempt to get all, or as much of the material as possible, released.
