Grandma and Grandpa's house full of wrapping and children, tables full of food, snow all the way home, waiting to hear the reindeer on the roof with my little sister, the Christmas story in the morning as early as possible. Presents, cookies, music! I now have a family of my own, and we've had our traditions too. Travel to see family, starry night soup, sugar cookies, singing "O Tannenbaum" before opening presents. One of my boys says Christmas is his favorite music of all. I'm thankful for all the beautiful scenes of Christmas our hearts carry. I'm thankful for the joy that came to the world when the Savior was born. Christmas still brings joy. And while I would ask you to please never ask me to make an actual scrapbook, haha, I could write you songs about these sights, sounds, and wonders all day. I hope these songs are an heirloom that I can pass down to my grandkids one day. Songs about the simple things that in the end are the best things.
