On March 1, 2012 Eugen Doga turned 75 years old! For the composer this year is also a 45th anniversary since the beginning of his career in cinema, and 35 years since his famous waltz was composed. The theme from "My Sweet and Tender Beast" has been justly competing with Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" for 30 years already. Thousands of lovers recite oath to this very melody, and recently the song "My White City" has become the State anthem of the Republic of Moldova.
