www.CoreVelocityBelt.com Funnel the Front Feel Series are a daily staple inside my private training programs.
The Funnel the Front FEEL Series consists of 4 pitching drills and/or arm care exercises. The series can be performed on the pitching mound, or flat ground.
Inside this video you will find us blending the movement with various instruments going from light to heavy to create an overload-underload training effect.
1. A 6 ft long PVC pipe.
2. A plyocare ball (We use 1 or 2lbs)
3. A 4-lb medicine ball
The purpose of the Funnel the Front FEEL Series is to:
- Improve your quality of end-range movement and heighten overall awareness (proprioception) of the hips.
- Increase your pelvic control, hip mobility and hip stability.
- Teach you proper rotation and deceleration of the hips.
- Creates a FEEL for proper extension of your shoulders, via rotation.
- Can also be used as a pitching drill series to improve your pitching mechanics, which doesn't require you to throw a baseball.
Scientific Fact: Increasing your ability to control the pelvis and move better through end ranges of motion, has been proven to be a very effective way to reduce your chances for an arm injury, improve your command, while also boosting your velocity.
