Early Spring 2016 to End of Summer 2018/Box #2 (Digitized Cassette Field Recordings and Concert Bootlegs)

This is the digitized early spring 2k16 to late summer 2k18 portion/era of my collection of cassette concert bootlegs and field recordings I made throughout my early and mid-twenties. This particular collection is a lot of field recordings of me and my friends just hanging out though there are jams, large scale collaborations, concerts, and fests included too (some pretty good ones at that which I will prioritize at the top of the playlist). I doubt the field recordings will be of interest to most but myself and maybe a select few other individuals and close friends (they're pretty boring with out very personal context and history). It traces my Sophomore year of college living at Cult House (a duplex and house venue my friends, cousin, and I stayed in the top and bottom of) in Lawrence, KS through the late summer of 2018 (with a gap from late 2k16 to late 2k17, when I lived in Japan [please see "Japanese Concert Bootlegs" playlist for that specific era and collection]). I first got a pcr and began pretty obsessively recording around this time of my life, so it is some of the earliest stuff I still have. I believe that as I continue this digitization and archive project, more recordings from around the 2018 period should begin to turn up as a lot of them were made in cassettes that came in (and are still stored in) giant books-on-tape collections that are scattered throughout my bootleg and field recording collection boxes (typically these sets include collections of thematically organized things, such as festivals; in this case, KC Noisefest 4 and Midwest Harshfest 4 for example were recorded on books-on-tape collections). In the case that more from this assigned period do turn up down the line of this project, I will either add them to this playlist or include them with whatever "box" period i found them in.
