The 2026 season has started for us and would like to thank Fantasy Island for inviting us to their open day last weekend ( 21st March ).
With two big coasters ( THE ODYSSEY and THE MILLENNIUM ) it was good to get the coaster credits. With the nice weather we had it was nice to see the sky light with the track.
It was good to see some bigger YouTube channels there and everyone having a good day. Also would like thank you Fantasy island for allowing us to film on rides so we will have POV’s uploaded soon. Here is the play list of the POV’s I got on opening day and will be uploaded soon.

Some information on the park it’s free to enter and you pay per ride or you can get a wristband which, personally if your looking at doing three rides or more I would get a wristband. If you need a break from the rides it also has Europe’s largest 7 day market in the theme park so you can do some retail therapy.

It’s good to see Chessington World Of Adventures have got the vampire ride up and running for this season and to start its 36 years of being at the park.
Anyone planning a visit to Chessington world of adventures this season and would it be the first ride you go on when visiting the park

This weekend we are planning a trip to fantasy island in Skegness as it's a park that we have never visited. We can't wait to get the roller coaster credits and see what the park has to offer.
Has any one been to Skegness Fantasy Island? What was your best ride there?
But good news, Fantasy Island have released a new park mascot called #SALTYSUE ( picture below )
Which reminds me that Skegness is by the seaside and I must get myself some fish and chips when there, with the salty sea air, you can't beat fish and chips with salt and vinegar from a seaside town.
This year marks 10 years that the Mellor's Group took over Fantasy Island, so what a year to start my partnership with them. It's also a rebranded year for Fantasy Island and I am looking forward to this visit.

Yesterday Thorpe Park announced that Rumba Rapids is not going to be operational this year ( 2026 ) and has now permanently closed After 39 years. 1987 Thorpe Park introduced a new ride that was called Thunder River and it when throw some name changes, it changed it name in 2002 Ribena Rumba Rapids. In 2007 the ride drop Ribena of the name and changed it to Rumba Rapids

We are planning a trip to fantasy island in Skegness at the beginning of the season, As never been and would like to get the roller coaster credits. When we are there we will visit pleasure beach Skegness as well.
