Designated as National Remembrance Day of the Cursed Soldiers, March 1st serves as a poignant reminder of these brave individuals who valiantly fought against totalitarian regimes in the post-World War II era.

Today Father Tadeusz Isakowicz-Zaleski, a revered priest, historian and charity activist, passed away.
His unwavering dedication to truth and justice, particularly in documenting the plight of the oppressed during Poland's turbulent times, leaves behind a legacy of courage and compassion. He served as a priest for Armenian diaspora in Poland. He also devoted a lot of effort to unveil the true about massacres committed by Ukrainian nationalists on Polish citizens during WW2, as well as to purify the Polish clergy by publicizing cases of abuse and uncovering cases of collaboration with communist authority.
Father Isakowicz-Zaleski's life was a testament to his profound commitment to his faith and to the betterment of society. He will be greatly missed.
