This photo was taken last month at MGM Malar hospital at Chennai. The nursing leadership together with Dr Vidya and Dr Patta organize a weekly teaching session led by their nurses. In this particular session, their nurse educator spoke on cannulation and cannula maintenance. She encouraged young nurses to participate in the discussion.
It’s very important to encourage regular teaching sessions for the nursing team with their active participation and leadership.
This will increase their confidence levels, empower them and this will translate to better patient outcomes.
