If I hadn't started learning Japanese 5 years ago, I wonder what I'd be doing now...

Today marks my 5 year anniversary.

It's been a long journey thus far and I've crossed paths with many people along the way. It's hard to believe that I am where I am right now in terms of both proficiency and where I am in life.

Thank you to Cure Dolly Sensei for being the greatest mentor for me. And thank you to Eilene for providing me all those opportunities when I first started.

And of course, thank you to all of you and all the members of the 上手組 Discord server for supporting me and enabling my videos to be possible.

There is more to come, but to eat good ya gotta let the chef cook! Next vid should be good to go by next month!

Lawsuit update & next videos update:

Lawsuit:
Meta has folded and I successfully restored everything back. Thank you to everybody who played a role in helping out. I will be looking into the class action suit against Meta to make them pay for all the damages.

Next videos:
Because of the Meta suit, the original plan for a KANJI VIDEO was DERAILED. That video is now on hold.

I am now currently working on a video about particles aimed more towards the basics. Originally I had planned to make a video covering literally every particle, but I'm not sure what the target audience would be for a video where I need to explain what を does as well as the high level particles だの or にて. Doesn't make sense. So I cut out all the complex stuff and stuck to the basics!

I *have* written all the stuff for ALL the particles (that I could think of), but that doc will be Patreon exclusive.

Furthermore, advanced particles / advanced usages of simple particles / particles that aren't urgently needed by beginners will get their own video in the future.

As for the Kanji video, I have a lot of stuff already filmed. After this particle stuff is done, I will get back to it.

Sneak peek at the next big project! I've just finished filming a collab with ‪@Taka-Life‬ as part of my next video series on learning Kanji. I'll be making an appearance on his channel as well!

This next project will be pretty big, on the same scale as the verb grammar series I made a while back. I'll also be spending several weeks filming with other YouTubers as well so I expect to be able to release the first part in about a month / 2 month's time!

Hope y'all are looking forward to it as much as I am looking forward to making it! 😁

Next video is so close to being done!! I had to do a LOT of research for this video and had to read through MANY academic research papers and master's theses...
