I was hesitant to go hiking today, was abit lazy, pushed myself as it’s my way of exercising and so happy I decided to go - Beautiful day exploring Connecticut, gone hiking into the forest with gorgeous waterfalls at Saugatuck Falls, Wilton, CT.
About 1 hr trail, parts are quite rocky and steep, lush pine trees, amazing fresh air, dogs on leash allowed.
I would rate this 8/10 only bc the trail marks are not great and the rocky part is abit dangerous with not many options for another path.
But love the loads of moss, pine and spruce trees and I also love a spot with rivers and/ or lakes as water for me is very calming and energizing in a positive anxiety relief way.
