My video covering recent events in the UK has gathered considerable traction over the last day or so - in light of other related events throughout this week, I implore everyone who lives here to continue sharing the petition, and make sure to contact your MPs on the regular. Don't just stop at the one email, call their offices too, show up to surgeries when they're hosting. Remind them this is much more than just the explicit stuff.

As an aside, I've said this in the pinned comment, but I'll reiterate it here - please don't subscribe just for this one video. I've made much better work on this channel before, so if you really wanna hit the button, check out my other videos first. They're good! (some are saying better than good)

the annual Novalaxia community post update, uh-oh! (tl;dr - got busy, got phone stalked, got sick from stress, project schedule delayed AGAIN)

It's been a while since I last made one of these posts, and a lot of stuff has happened!

First off, I want to offer much-belated gratitude for the J-core video. I didn't expect the video to be positively received, nor did I expect so many people from so many corners of the wider sphere to even see it! (You can imagine I went a bit wild every now and then seeing how it was received.) I appreciate all the kind words, comments, and various musings since it dropped - I haven't had the chance to regularly check back in lately, but I am wholeheartedly grateful that many have found it to be of some value. Thank you so much!

Some quick updates in the interim: I have a Neocities page now! And I also stopped using Twitter completely. Check the links below (or in my links section) for where to find my other stuff.

I'm currently working on a backlog of existing and new projects alike that will hopefully cover some of the details I missed since my initial pool of videos - perhaps there'll be some director's cut appends on the second channel...? (‪@novalaxia2‬) Keep an eye out throughout the year!

On the other hand, progress on the next project has stalled a fair bit. Long story short, I've been involved in a pretty wild phone harassment/stalking case over the last couple of weeks, and the stress of having to deal with that has led to me becoming sick, which is... not fun! It's pretty annoying. I haven't been able to record any voiceovers at all without a coughing fit, so that's been another problem to deal with. Hopefully I get better before the heat death of the universe!

With all that said, I appreciate everyone's patience with me over the last year. Videos got delayed, life got delayed, and I'm still broke. Nonetheless, I plan to work a lot harder this year, both with the channel and elsewhere - can't wait to show you what bizarre machinations I've devised this time around! (yes they will take like 4 months as usual do not ask further)

August update: I've finished writing the script for the early J-core history video, so I'll be recording the voiceover over the next week or so and try to get everything edited - no ETA as to when it'll be out, as I'm juggling a bunch of extra commitments that might slow the process down a fair bit. (I promise it'll actually release before the end of the year this time)

In other news, some of you might notice that I've done a number of streams recently - I've been using that time to chill a little bit and hopefully do something equally productive on the side. I'll try to make streaming a more regular thing in the future, so stay tuned to the community tab (and Twitter, guh) for whenever I go live!
