🍋 The super productive citrus tree I'm obsessed with! and it's not a lemon...
Have you heard of the lemonade tree? It’s not a lemon… but it tastes just like one, only sweeter, and you can eat it fresh straight off the tree. Like an orange but with lemon flavour!
Growing up in NZ, we had one in the backyard like many other Kiwis, and it was a regular fruit in my lunch boxes, but I was surprised to see it wasn't as well known outside of NZ. Turns out it was created in NZ (like many amazing things 💁♀️😂) from a chance seedling cross between a lemon and a mandarin. But with it now being sold in Australia and the US, I wanted to share this amazing fruit with you!
