At E. 50th Avenue N., the road crosses over BNSF’s Emporia Sub. Here we see an eastbound intermodal train as it approaches the bridge. The train has left Wellington (KS) behind and is also approaching Control Point Cicero. - April 20, 2026 (WB Videos)

At W. Maple Street, we get a glimpse of an old industrial spur that leads to a nearby elevator. Although the spur still connects with BNSF’s transcon (according to maps), it would appear that there have been no trains on the line for quite some time. - Wellington, Kansas
