BNSF #9163 (SD70ACe) holds the mainline as it idles near the yard office with a northbound coal train. Following refueling from a semi truck, a new crew would soon takeover, and the train would depart afterwards. Note the trailing Norfolk Southern power.

On the morning of November 1st (2025), BNSF #1424 and BNSF #1471 (both SD60M’s) were parked outside the engine facility at Newton (KS). Meanwhile, over at the nearby Sand Creek Yard was a pair of flatcars with fuselages from the Spirit Aerosystems Plant; based in Wichita (KS).
