Happy with how it’s looking now. Centre of the track I was happy with but wanted to build the shoulders up more. Again letting it dry then pick ballast off. Last plan after that’s to put some black wash on around the tunnel area. Clean tracks and that should be it for part 3. Wanted to do a proper job on it. What do you think from the pictures? Let me know 👍

Painted tracks and sleepers. Ballasted too. Waiting for it to dry then want to get ballast off the sleepers and do a general tidy up. Filming it all for Part 3 of the diorama build. If you haven’t already please go check out part 1 and 2 👍

Just got my J50 back from TMC and peachy. Very impressed. Went for heavy weathering and figures. 13 day turn around from me posting. Obviously doing a video too but have the intercity 37 coming this week too. Great times to be in tt:120. Make sure you keep an eye out on here and my channel for updates 👍

Massive news this morning from accurascale buying Heljan. This is from accurascales website. I’ve got pre orders of the deltic and dmu with rails.
TT Powered Models Will be Priced from £124.94 and the range will receive further investment through new models
New customer sign-ups will receive 10% off their first order
Class 55 and Class 122 ‘Bubble Cars’ in TT will now have to pre-order direct on the Heljan UK website, but with a much reduced, more attractive price point. This will be the case for all new Heljan British outline releases going forwards, and it will see a growth of excellently priced models in stock grow over the coming weeks and months.
Done both my pre orders for the dmu and deltic previously with rails of Sheffield for £189 each. Now costing £224.99 for both direct.
