When you declare the Lord of your life, He will supernaturally change you, cleaning out the junk and filth you were born into. Sin no longer has dominion over you, but His power will transform you.
He will not allow things to creep up like they used to; He will not allow the past to define you; and He will not allow others to influence you. He will sustain and shape you into the person He made you.
Jesus is the only source of comfort and satisfaction for our souls. He CAN and WILL carry out the plans and promises He has for us.
When you go through what seems impossible, God will be with you as He draws you closer to Him.
You can't rely on others to keep their word when they are imperfect and fail you every single time. You lose trust and hope in them. That's why it's better to put your all in the One who is perfect and faithful.
Man can't fill you; God can restore you. Comfort is safety and safety is shelter.
