Love movies? Love movies on disc? Me, too! So let's talk about what's good on 4K, blu-ray and dvd. We'll jaw about films, collecting them on physical media and delve deep into some flicks worth your time that maybe you've missed. Join me!
From the guys who brought you James Bond and... The Monkeys? Comes a lost 1970 rock musical with, uh, aliens? Yep, this is a real movie, it exists and has been lost for about half a century. But now, it's back on a brand new blu-ray from BFI, and we gotta talk about it! And we do --- just check out today's video...
Boom - a new video just dropped, and... it's pretty cool, so... hopefully... it helps beat the heat? I dunno, but it's a new haul video where I open, uh, probably too many packages, mostly containing imported American editions. So what'd I get? And how silly is this video? Watch on, my friends... :)
Hey everyone - A new video just dropped, and it's all about some underrated movies from a writer/director I feel has fallen a bit under the radar - Joe Carnahan. Is he just another action guy, or is there more to his movies? (Spoiler alert - I'm in the latter camp. :). Anyway, the first movie I talk about takes place in the snowy Alaskan mountains, which sounds soooooo nice as we enter this awful heatwave. Maybe the video helps you stay cool??? Watch away and find out...
Today, it's all about deciding whether not to stick with your DVD or blu-ray, or upgrade to that lovely new 4K. And Thursday -- it'll be another blu-ray hunt! Last time, we did Fopp. This time - HMV Oxford Street. Which is bigger? We'll discuss.
I love movies on physical media, and I hope you do, too! So today, it's time for another video where I pull 3 random movies off the shelves - no theme, no connective idea - and we just talk about 'em. Just because - we love movies!!!! I hope you enjoy!
1981's excellent neo-noir BODY HEAT has finally come to 4K from the Criterion Collection. So how's it look? Sound? And how significant is this movie in the grand scheme of things? Well -- I attempt you answer burning questions in today's video. Watch on, dear viewer...
Hey, so in the past few weeks our little channel has kind of... exploded? A bit? I mean, it's still a small channel in the grand scheme o' Youtube, but thanks to you guys we've built a really nice community here. And so, today's video is to say... THANK YOU!! Plus Bogart the Movie Cat strides back in... Check it out!
