Alrighty guys so I have thought long and hard, and I've been working on it for a while now, but its finally here;
The rebranding.

From now on, all of my music stuff released will be under the new name, Khoruscate; A respelling of the word Coruscate which means "to give off or reflect light in bright beams or flashes. To scintilate, gleam, or shimmer."
Originally when I started this channel, it was to share my music with others because to me, music has always been my form of therapy. My way of navigating through things, self soothing, comforting and keeping afloat in my various storms and learning to recognize and appreciate the beauty in the spaces between the falls. I've been writing songs since I was very young, however for a long time I kept them very private to myself as they were ofc my most private thoughts. My highest highs and most painful lows.
When I was seventeen, after having built some courage with some of the battle I had faced for my depression, I shared one irl with a friend, that was a more heavy, keep afloat kind of songs I'd written, and their response to it was to tell me that it had shown them some form of recognition for feelings they had also struggled with. After that point they suggested that my works should be published somewhere, and I had the thought and desire of sharing them on youtube so that if just even ONE OTHER person could be helped and feel seen, that they could also find solace and comfort in a time of their darkness, it would be worth it to share these thoughts I'd been too embarrassed and ashamed of, and kept so private.

Coruscate, shine, illuminate.. Thats what I have always intended of my music. To reach into the darkness and show reassurance and comfort to other wayward souls. Like something of a lighthouse.

So with that, I've settled on Khoruscate.
I am so beyond greatful and inspired and just completely humbled that there have been so many of you who come and find comfort in my music. I read EVERY comment, even though I do not always have the time to reply to so many. It has been an entirely awinspiring and humbling and happy experience that I could never have expected on such a level.
Thank you to each and every one of you for continuing to share your love, support and stories with me all of these years.
I hope I will continue to see all of you in this next chapter.

Hey guys, so I found some OLD files and songs and such from when i was 15-17 that I had been working on but never released. I honestly don't think i feel like releasing them, but i appreciate them for what they were back when i was that young and still learning about mixing and mastering and etc.
I DO want to finish them now though bc I always felt kind of sad for having not done so. Now that i have the knowledge to complete some of them and see the visions through, i had an idea though.

What if i made a couple of short videos, or did some streams, here on my youtube channel, of me remastering and fixing and finishing these old projects?
Kind of a sort of instructional like idk work flow of my new process, and where i point out what is wrong about these old mixes and projects and then do that.. ?
would you guys enjoy such a thing???

I just want to rebrand myself as a musician.. but idk how to change all my stuff from xS4RI4x.. or if i even should.

i was alot younger when i chose that name, and it no longer feels like it fits me the way it used to for .. various painful reasons
I want to move forward and begin really pursuing my music.
