In less than a month, Omega could have something up their sleeves for the launch of "007 First Light”. It’s been spotted that a unique Seamaster Chronograph (Q-Watch) has been carefully modelled for the game with a custom strap and dial. Since this is James Bond and the first time we’ve seen an “Official” Bond watch in what must be five years, Omega might use the arrival of this new game as a springboard to release a new watch (or several). Decided to try something different this year and compress all of the standouts from W&W’s in a short form video. I think the above perfectly sums up how differently brands took the event. Zenith with their watchmaking (furthering my love of the GFJ) Rolex adapting Alighiero e Boetti’s art style into a stunning motif dial and Tudor dropping a weird and wild Monarch that covers many generations of the brand in one piece. Looks like we’ll be getting a Two-Tone OP to mark this occasion BUT I’ve gone with the more conservative option for this post… it could be using the metal in a more dynamic way (only on the bezel or on the outside links of the bracelet) So, sizes? 41, 39 and 36? Quite the big surprise to kick-off this years new watch announcements and I had a great time covering this name for the first time on the channel. NEW VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9prc5... Has Rolex Just Confirmed the Return of the “Coke” GMT? It is spreading like wildfire that the BLRO (Pepsi) Bezel GMT is slowly being phased out, AD’s are not accepting new orders from those interested in the watch and word on the street is that Rolex’s online configurator does not feature the watch anymore in some parts? It leaves us guessing that maybe, just maybe the RONR (Coke) is about to arrive to replace it. I decided to put some ideas down on why the Red/Black would fit so well into Rolex’s current GMT collection, also focusing on the Cerachrom bezel and how creating the colour Red has stumped the brand for a long time.
