Okay wait what if the first episode (wait do we know when the spin off comes out cause if it comes out around the same time as the rookie this could happen.) Okay so it's a cross over episode between the rookie and the rookie north and they get taken to Washington state and thats how nathan (John nolan) makes his way over to Washington to be in the rookie noth pilot episode cause im pretty sure I heard that john/nathan is going to be in the first ep of the rookie north

Okay so I just watched a video of some of the cast members being interviewed and Alyssa said that there is going to be an animal involved in the season 9 opening which we know is a 2 pt episode so while referring to this im referring to the first 2 episodes which are while tim and lucy are kidnapped and all that. So I think the animal is going to be koto because Shawn also said that the opening of season 9 is very beautiful so I think koto is going to have some part in finding/finding out tim and lucy are gone
