Is it just me… or are we living in the Upside Down? 🫠 🌎 (Stranger Things)

I got on YouTube trying to decompress from last week, escape the headlines (Epstein, Economy, and War) and mentally prepare for the week ahead…and somehow the “relatable” content was:
✈️ first-class flights
🌴 luxury resets
🛍️ $500 “casual” hauls

Meanwhile I’m over here calculating groceries, planning my workload, and side-eyeing my gas tank.

Like… am I in Stranger Things or is this the economy? 😩

I’m not even mad at success — I’m just realizing I can’t relate to what I’m being sold as “normal life” anymore.

So I made a video about it.

This morning we’re talking about:

who was praying, who was preparing,
OR who is just performing.

Timothy 4:2, “be ready in season and out of season.” Not just when it’s convenient. Not just when things are warm and thriving.

Winter isn’t just coming for some of us.
It’s already here.

Is this a grocery bag on my head? YES 👏🏾 Just like I recycled this bag, I’m recycling my energy and shifting my content BACK to real, relatable, PURPOSE.

During this season of fasting (which I do every year) I’ve been able to find myself again! I realized I’d let the noise and chaos of content get me off track - but I’m coming back! 😊


I’ve been sitting with this lately:

“What does it profit a person to gain the whole world and lose their soul?”

And here’s the revelation that hit me —
growth that costs you your peace, your integrity, or your alignment isn’t growth… it’s a warning sign.

So in this season, I’m building slower, clearer, and more intentionally.
Not chasing trends.
Not forcing content.
Not monetizing at the expense of my values.

If you’re growing a brand, a business, or showing up online —
ask yourself: Does this align with who you are becoming in Christ?

Because success that’s aligned will always feel lighter.

Keep showing up with purpose. 🫶✨
