We are back with another film! revisiting an old favourite from 10 years ago. Ampulex compressa, the jeweled cockroach wasp. But this time with better cameras, better lighting and 10 years more experience. Here is a sample clip! Hope you enjoy it! Also we have reached 100k subscribers!
Hi folks, sorry its been a while since our last video. I (James) suffered an unexpected loss in the family and had to take some time out. But I'm back now and we are getting stuff done. Look forward to an AMAZING carnivorous plants sequence coming out soon, and our usual weekly vlog updates!
Due to a technical hiccup (Blue Screen of Death) we were unable to edit a BTS video in time for upload tonight. Rest assured that the problem has been fixed and it is on the way. But it will be a little late.
We are still going to make wildlife documentaries! But, the future of this channel is uncertain. The youtube algorithm has undergone some changes that have hit us very hard. Our model of “make one or two very high-quality wildlife docs a year” is not really viable anymore. Fortunately, we see this as an opportunity to make a few changes.
We’re going to start trying to post more BTS content, this will be fly on the wall style documentaries showing what we are getting up to. This is something that we have always wanted to do, but we never did because the channel was doing fine, and we didn’t want to rock the boat. As I said, that’s not really an issue anymore, so away we go.
They will be a bit rough at first, because this is a new kind of content for us, but I think what we do is quite interesting, and I think we can make some nice stuff. It will just take a bit of trial and error. As I said, we will still be making wildlife documentaries. This is just on top of that. Hopefully it will be educational and give you all a bit of insight into what goes into these. Here is a poll for visibility. If you go for the second option our patreon is www.patreon.com/teamcandiru
