Sacrificial passive 50HP "shield" that protects against explosions as it is designed to, specifically:
Attacks by Stragglers and Runners are unaffected since those are attacks on the neck, which are unprotected by a cuirass of this era. Cuirasses in the Napoleonic era are designed to defend against musket shot and shrapnel, which, intuitively, means it should offer protection against Bombers.
Riding horses for their career and trained for horseback combat, these cavalrymen have an acute sense of balance. As shock troops, cuirassiers are also selected for their tall and muscular stature. This means they might not tackled by Runners. Instead, a Runner's tackle only trips a Cuirassier, who would stumble a few steps in the direction of the tackle, but still holding his weapon. The runner is stunned for 4 seconds before resuming its charge.
