What's up? I'm Hailbot! The guy who loves to make videogames just as much as he loves to play them! So I hope you don't mind the mixed content here. I hope you enjoy the videos I post here of gameplay and bits of my projects that I work on! I hope that some day I can put together this awesome idea I have for a videogame and also that having and working on this YouTube channel will also help take me in the direction I would like to go in my future! The Koopa Who Stole Christmas is now open source as well as one more update! Some minor improvements and additions to the game! This includes some neat little minor additions like objective counters in the UI on Frozen Frostbite land as well as the ability to save your lives into your save file! On top of that, all of the code used in The Koopa Who Stole Christmas is now available on the GitHub for anyone to use (Linked Below)! Thanks for sticking around, life has been crazy, but I'm still hanging in there. A HUGE thanks to @pants64 for getting all of this prepared. I've been lacking on my personal projects as of late, but Sunshine DS still has gotten some small but important changes over the last few months. I think about the project a lot, but I just can't come up with anything cool or motivate myself much in my current mental state.

This last bugfix update for The Koopa Who Stole Christmas is now out! This might not be the final update this mod gets, but it will be the last one for a while unless something urgent comes up. You can get the update from the usual release video here https://youtu.be/Ek2tea2IHvI .
The changes in this update are the following:
- Removed weird clear walls on the boundaries of Snowy Town to stop wireframe effect on real hardware
- Made it so that secret in Snowy Town appears in all missions so people stop reporting it as a bug
- Made it so that the small slope at the start of Mount Bobomb is unslippable
- Updated Confidan's name on the Shifting Snow Land book
- Fixed Bully audio in Frostbite Summit
- Fixed Silver Star jingle audio in Frosty Town, Santa's Backup, and Shifting Snow Land
- Peach's painting in the inside hub now only appears after you beat Bowser the first time
- Made Peach painting in the inside hub not stretched
- Fixed Z Fighting on stone cave path in Mt. Bobomb and Mt. Bobomb Cave on real hardware
- Fixed ALL audio problems in Koopa Mall
- Delfino Plaza no longer forces you to leave the level when collecting a star
- Fixed roofs in Snowy Town
- Fixed all solid surfaces you could get stuck in for every level
- Fixed wall UVs in Snowy Town
- Lighthouse glass in Bowser In The Cold Winds made easier to see
Thank you all for playing and supporting this awesome project! Its been a lot of work, so I'm glad to finally have this project in a state where it feels really solid. It even works perfectly on real hardware all the way through!

Now that The Koopa Who Stole Christmas is out, I can show some early versions of some of the levels in the game. This is a screenshot of an early version of the intro level for Bowser In The Cold Winds and a screenshot of the final version for you to compare it to. Shading can make a pretty big difference.
