It has been one year since the death of Ozzy Osbourne, legendary frontman of Black Sabbath and pioneering force in heavy metal. He died at age 76 after years of health struggles. He died just weeks after Back To The Beginning, the now-iconic farewell charity concert featuring sets from Sabbath, Ozzy, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains, Anthrax, Gojira, Halestorm, K.K. Downing, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Pantera, Rival Sons, Slayer, Steven Tyler, Tom Morello, Tool, Tobias Forge of Ghost, Yungblud and more. It was arguably the greatest concert ever and gave Ozzy what he wanted most towards the end of his life: a chance to say goodbye to his loyal fans and perform one final time. In the year since he passed away, we have gotten two documentaries about his life, his final memoir, a year-long museum exhibition in his hometown in Birmingham United Kingdom, had a song pass the billion mark on Spotify, an official honor from the US House of Representatives hailing Osbourne’s life and legacy in Washington, D.C., an announced AI avatar, the hopeful return of his namesake festival Ozzfest in 2027, a tribute day celebrating his life, and countless tributes. Joe Cold Slither record, to discuss his latest project with "Knights of Unicron: The Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition," out July 24, 2026, through ‪@hasbroUS‬  Music and ‪@ReigningPhoenixMusicOfficial‬ . Gus breaks down how Knights of Unicron, comprising himself, Matt Harvey, and Ross Sewage, rebuilt the iconic 1986 animated movie soundtrack from the ground up to deliver a heavier, sharper, and more powerful sonic experience for the fortieth anniversary.

"The Reformatted Edition" features an all-star lineup of guest performers and lifelong Transformers fans, including Stan Bush and Vince DiCola, Sebastian Bach, Mark Osegueda, Francesco Cavalieri of Wind Rose, Brittney Slayes of Unleash the Archers, and Cold Slither's own Torch. The album was produced and engineered by Matt LaPlant, mixed and mastered by Zeuss, and recorded at Ripper's Lair. Cover artwork and design are by Matt Ferguson.

For the second time in his career‪@ozzyosbourne‬ has joined Spotify’s “Billions Club” with his classic debut solo hit song, “Crazy Train!” Ryan J. Downey’s Stream and Destroy newsletter shared the news. Ozzy previously joined the club in 2024 when Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” hit the mark. “Crazy Train” joins other recent Rock and Metal anthems from bands such as System of A Down, Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more!
