Combining Tamagotchis and OCs❣️ - Just wanted to share again that I've added a custom character again in a Tamagotchi device again! Honestly, the method for the On/Meets was pretty confusing imo so I commissioned SaddenNemo from the Tamagotchi community to provide the files for me. Seriously, so grateful for his work and cooperation! The Tamagotchi On is such a fun and content rich device, but it saddens me to see how expensive the aftermarket for these are now. Sweet like you❣️ - It's been almost a month since the previous post, but I wanted to drop by again and share a new drawing to the channel! I've been working hard to adjust and refine my art style to suit my needs, as I felt it was time for something new and because I wanted to show more improvement. I drew my character, Hikari because I really wanted to color something pink. My beloved OC of almost 5 years at this point, if I feel brave enough, I'll post drawings of her throughout the years. Untitled Halloween❣️ - I couldn't resist drawing Kenny again from South Park since he is literally one of my fave fictional characters ever. I associate Halloween with him because one of his rare focus episodes is a Halloween episode as well. Drawing the parka hoodie is kinda difficult, so that definitely discourages me from drawing him more frequently. Given that I've seemingly went silent in the middle of cute girltober I do apologize for that. I'm actually gonna take a short hiatus as I have to focus on some other things for the time being. I put both of them to compare, and I actually do prefer the star element from last year lolrip. Anyhow, I did originally want to draw this as a fullbody, but I was in a bit of a time crunch so I settled for a bust drawing. That never happened❣️ - I had no idea what to draw for the 30th anniversary for Evangelion, so I just went something that would have looked cool but actually makes no sense. The spear of longinus is such a cool weapon (talking about the evangelion version...) and it was so satisfying to see it being used around the end of the series. I remember getting into the series 5 years ago, and since then, it has completely lived rent free in my mind. I hate to admit it, but I don't think I'll ever rewatch the original series. It's one of those shows you only watch once. I saw EoE in theaters last year, and the impact I had in my first viewing went hard and kinda traumatizing, but when I rewatched it last year I was just like wow okay. As someone who was only watching wholesome media prior to Evangelion, it was definitely a shock and it also led to me continuing exploring other genres. So, in a way, Evangelion was that push I needed to grow up and change. So, it's been about 30 years, and we still haven't gotten that SOL series based on that dream sequence... while it would probably suck a little I hope it does get made lol. Hi guys, since it's almost October, that means it's almost time to participate with drawing prompts! Last year, I participated in Cute Girltober by Ocean In Space, and I had fun drawing random characters from media I enjoyed. I'll be participating in their new prompt for this year, so i'll be returning to sketch shorts again. Same as last year, i'll also be participating again in Calmtober by kriksisart! So, it'll be an active month for me, and I'm excited to draw and share more art to the channel! Just expect a couple of scattered shorts throughout the week in the month of October❣️
Just stay on my good side❣️ - Felt compelled to continue drawing fan art, so I went with Akane since I did her so dirty the last two times. Just scroll down on my channel to see her previous drawings oof. I thought maybe drawing her in her original appearance would be easier, but I somehow got way too worked up on the lighter parts of her hoodie. Unfortunately, I didn't pull it off, but I guess maybe my next attempt I will be more satisfied with drawing Akane. Let's hope she doesn't erase me from existence like she did to other characters LOL. The coloring is pretty simple.. well, more than usual, cel shading my beloved. I was pretty drained when working on this, so I didn't play around with adding a rim light or anything other fancy layer on top. I've included his previous bday drawing, and I did him so dirty✋️😭 This year's drawing redemption lol. In all honesty, he's not really my favorite and ranks last compared to the other eva pilots. I remember I told someone that and their response was diabolical. Anyhow, he's still a character I care about, and it's really just his hair that makes me never want to draw him. I had no idea what to draw for the 30th anniversary for Evangelion, so I just went something that would have looked cool but actually makes no sense. The spear of longinus is such a cool weapon (talking about the evangelion version...) and it was so satisfying to see it being used around the end of the series.
