TONIGHT WE ARE COMMANDING THE GATES OF SEPTEMBER

Isaiah 43:19 declares: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

This scripture reminds us that God is not only the Author but also the Midwife of new beginnings. He is faithful to bring to completion what He has started in Isaiah 66:9, “Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” This means that the One who began a good work in you will also be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). There is no promise of God that will be aborted, no vision that will miscarry, and no destiny that will remain trapped in the womb of delay.

Many have travailed in prayer, endured seasons of waiting, and walked through wilderness experiences. September is a prophetic announcement that the season of travail is shifting into a season of delivery.

The groaning you may have felt in past seasons was not a sign of defeat but the labor pains of destiny. Just as Hannah travailed in prayer until Samuel was born (1 Samuel 1:27), so too will your prayers, faith, and endurance produce tangible results in this season.

1. Father, deliver me from every environment, relationship, or assignment that keeps me misaligned with Your purpose (2 Corinthians 6:17).

DAY 3
DEALING WITH FORCES THAT HINDER THE WILL OF GOD.
2.HUMAN OPPOSITION.
When Nehemiah set out to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he was fulfilling the will of God for the restoration of His people. Yet almost immediately, human opposition rose against him. Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem mocked and ridiculed the work, questioning its strength and value (Nehemiah 4:1–3). Their goal was to weaken the people’s hands and cause them to abandon God’s assignment.

As the work progressed, the opposition intensified. The enemies conspired to attack, spread false accusations against Nehemiah, and even tried to lure him into traps to stop the project (Nehemiah 4:7–8, 6:2–7). They used fear, intimidation, and distraction, hoping to discourage the builders. These tactics show how human opposition, often driven by jealousy, insecurity, or manipulation, can become a direct hindrance to God’s will.

But Nehemiah did not give in. Instead, he turned continually to God in prayer, asking Him to frustrate the plans of the enemies (Nehemiah 4:4–5). He also acted wisely by setting guards for protection, encouraging the people to remember God’s power, and refusing to be distracted: “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down” (Nehemiah 6:3). By staying focused and prayerful, Nehemiah completed the wall in just 52 days despite all resistance (Nehemiah 6:15).

Prayer Points

1. Father, frustrate every human agent rising against Your will for my life, family, and ministry, just as You frustrated Sanballat and Tobiah in Nehemiah’s time. (Nehemiah 4:4–5)


2. Lord, give me the focus, wisdom, and perseverance to complete every assignment You have put in my hands, despite opposition. (Nehemiah 6:3, 15)

3. Lord, surround me with divine protection and silence every voice of mockery and distraction in Jesus’ name.

DAY 2 DEALING WITH FORCES THAT HINDER THE WILL OF GOD
1.TERRITORIAL POWERS.

In the book of Daniel, we see how principalities can hinder the will of God. Daniel’s prayer was heard and answered on the very first day, but the Prince of Persia, a territorial principality, resisted the angel sent with his answer for 21 days (Daniel 10:12–13).
This shows that while God’s will is sure, satanic forces can delay its manifestation, causing frustration, weariness, and even doubt.
Principalities operate over regions, families, and destinies, striving to block the blessings and answers from God.

But as believers, we are not powerless. God has given us authority in Christ to confront these forces through prayer and spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12, Luke 10:19).
Just as Daniel persisted until breakthrough came, we too must stand firm in prayer until God’s will is established.

Prayer Points:

1. Lord, by the authority of Christ, I come against every principality assigned to resist my prayers. Let them be overthrown in Jesus name.

2. Father release Your angelic hosts to Help break through every territorial spirit and enforce Your perfect will in my life, family, and nation in Jesus name.
